Collaboration gives HOSP members preferred pricing on ACHC Pharmacy Accreditation

The Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC, Cary, NC) has announced it is partnering with the Health System Owned Specialty Pharmacy Alliance (HOSP). ACHC is a leader in pharmacy accreditation and offers a suite of pharmacy accreditation, distinction, and certification options. HOSP is a network of leading health systems advocating for the better patient care and outcomes associated with fully integrated health system specialty pharmacies.

“ACHC and HOSP are mutually dedicated to supporting the interests of health system-owned specialty pharmacies,” said Matt Hughes, ACHC vice president of corporate strategy. “The integrated specialty pharmacy industry plays an essential role in coordinating and improving care efforts. Our new relationship with HOSP highlights a shared commitment to enhancing patient care and outcomes.”

The collaboration gives HOSP members preferred pricing on ACHC Pharmacy Accreditation, including discounts on accreditation for Specialty Pharmacy, Compounding Pharmacy (PCAB), and other accreditation services, including Telehealth Certification. Discounts are also available on resources offered by ACHCU, the educational division of ACHC.

“Partnerships like this one ... demonstrate HOSP’s continuing commitment to our laser focus on patient outcomes, defragmenting care, and further enhancing the care model,” said Gary Kerr, HOSP chair and chief pharmacy officer at Baystate Health. “ACHC provides HOSP members with additional resources and opportunities to create and offer innovative patient care through the integrated specialty pharmacy model.”
