Veeva, ZS Associates partner to combine salesforce automation (SFA) services

Publicis Touchpoint is an early adopter

In the SFA space, there are two primary drivers today: going mobile, and broadening access to data and information that can be put in the sales reps’ hands in the field. To both of those ends, Veeva (Pleasanton, CA) and ZS Associates (Evanston, IL) have integrated their flagship products, Veeva CRM and Javelin. According to the companies, the integration allows organizations to share and capitalize easily on key information such as territory alignment, call plans, routing and calendar information. It enables agile sales planning and execution and dramatically reduces the time required to manage the sales processes. The capabilities are available as Web-based and mobile platforms.

The Veeva CRM system integrates with three Javelin modules: Javelin Alignment Manager, which creates, maintains, and optimizes customer and geography coverage; Javelin Call Plan Manager, which creates optimized call plans that improve sales representative productivity; and Javelin Routing Manager, which creates a daily sales representative schedule that minimizes travel and maintains focus on high-priority accounts.

One of the first users of the new service is Publicis Touchpoint Solutions (Yardley, PA), the contract-sales and marketing services company. “We have been using Veeva CRM for a few years with great results,” said Rick Keefer, president and CEO. “The addition of ZS Associates’ call planning functionality provides an integral step in team collaboration that greatly improves and expands our sales planning and execution.”
