ArisGlobal, a drug development software company, has acquired the SPOR (substance, product, organization, and referential) data governance and integration solution, SPORIFY. SPOR refers to the four domains of master data in regard to pharma regulatory processes.

The solution offers ISO identification of medicinal products (IDMP)-compliant SPOR data to feed regulatory activities across the product life cycle, allowing for more informed, proactive regulatory decisions to benefit public health and safety. The SPOR data harmonization technology solution is used by five of the world’s top 20 largest pharma companies, along with several European regulators, and will be brought into ArisGlobal’s branded end-to-end (E2E) technology platform, LifeSphere.

Bringing the SPORIFY application into the LifeSphere platform reportedly accelerates IDMP-compliant LifeSphere RIMS implementations by establishing data governance processes before health authority submissions.

"Creating system interoperability for life sciences and facilitating the transfer of structured data submissions to health authorities are integral to SPORIFY’s mission," says Gary Wilson, director, CorrIT Ltd, the IT solutions provider that designed SPORIFY. "Working in partnership with ArisGlobal, we’ll have the opportunity to provide those key capabilities to a much wider market as IDMP and interoperable data standards expand globally."
