Cloud-based system automatically collects and analyzes company’s datalogger outputs
Over the years, Elpro Buchs AG (Basel, Switzerland; US HQ in Marietta, OH) has developed a line of temperature indicators, dataloggers and related equipment for monitoring temperature in pharma shipping and storage; one common feature of the various products is the ability to produce PDF reports of a trip or storage period. Now, the PDF reports (typically transferred via a USB port from the datalogger to a networked computer) can be brought together, compiled, archived and analyzed to provide a comprehensive view of the shipment’s status, and indirectly, the performance of the logistics service provider storing or shipping a stock of pharma products. Called liberoManager v.1.3.0, the cloud-based system resides as an ISO 27001-compliant, high-security data center, and is sold on an annual subscription basis to clients.
In conjunction with a complementary software product, ElproViewer, liberoManager can perform calculations on total out-of-temperature excursion time, or document route, packaging or courier performance. The data-collection and archiving processes are compliant with 21 CFR Part 11 requirements. Results can be exported to Microsoft Excel for further analysis or reporting.
