Every chapter has its turning point, and for Pharmaceutical Commerce, this is one worth marking. After years of dedicated service, Nico Saraceno has stepped down as editor, returning to his journalistic roots as senior editor on our sister brand, Nutritional Outlook. We would be remiss not to pause and recognize the remarkable contribution he made to this publication. During his tenure, Pharmaceutical Commerce grew sharper, bolder, and more essential to you, our readers. He dug deeper, asked harder questions, and delivered content that didn’t just inform but genuinely moved the conversation forward in the industry. His fingerprints are on every issue, and we are better for it. On behalf of the entire team and our readership, thank you—sincerely and wholeheartedly.

Now, allow me to introduce ourselves. I am Christopher Cole, stepping in as the Associate Editorial Director of Pharmaceutical Commerce, and I am joined by Senior Content Associate Stephen Appezzato. Together, we bring a shared passion for the stories that define and drive the pharmaceutical supply chain, from cold chain logistics and serialization to emerging therapies, commercialization, and the evolving regulatory landscape. We are committed to continuing the high standards this publication has always stood for, while bringing fresh perspectives and new energy to the work.

And we have to say: it is an exciting time to be at the helm. The pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries are in the midst of extraordinary change, and Pharmaceutical Commerce is positioned to cover it all, with the depth, nuance, and timeliness you have come to expect. We have a strong editorial calendar ahead, compelling features in development, and a commitment to amplifying the voices and innovations shaping this space. There is a great deal of meaningful work to come.

You are in good hands—and we cannot wait to get to work.
