New cold-storage capacity for pharmaceuticals in Indiana
15,000-sq-ft facility adds to MD Logistics’ GMP capabilities
On top of 750,000 sq. ft. of warehouse capacity for pharmaceuticals and electronic, and an existing 22,000-sq-ft cold-storage capacity, MD Logistics (Plainfield, IN) is commissioning the new capacity to “serve the company’s growing pharmaceutical distribution business.” The $1-million expansion is supported by tax credits and training grants from the Indiana Economic Development Authority and the city of Plainfield.
“The commissioning of the new cooler allows us to respond quickly in improving and expanding our services to customers in the growing biologic medicine and life sciences industry in Indiana,” says Mark Sell, CEO. "We are hearing from members of the pharmaceutical industry with needs for additional climate-controlled facilities.”
