
Packaging Coordinators rebrands its AndersonBrecon acquisition, expands production capacity
Blister and bottle packaging, and cold chain distribution, are current investment targets
		Packaging Coordinators, Inc., the business being funded by Frazier Healthcare, a private equity firm, and others, has absorbed its latest 
PCI is moving rapidly along three paths, according to Justin Schroeder, senior director at the firm: expanded clinical and investigational-drug packaging and logistics; biologics (including autoinjector assembly); and serialized packaging/labeling to meet national and international regulatory requirements. Schroeder says that while the company has been serializing products for clients in Europe for a couple years, it is now qualifying vendors to provide serialization at its Rockford and other facilities.
Having previously picked up some assets from Catalent Pharma Solutions, PCI now encompasses 14 facilities in the US and Europe, over 1 million sq. ft of manufacturing space, and over 4,000 associates.
