Acquisition grows Antares’ track-and-trace presence
Antares Vision Group, a provider of track-and-trace systems for several industries including the life sciences, has entered into an agreement to acquire rfXcel Corporation, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company, for $120 million.
The deal is expected to close in March.
The rfXcel purchase, Antares says, will help strengthen its software capabilities, expanding its presence in the track-and-trace industry. The company will leverage rfXcel's capabilities and software suite to assist customers with quickening the transition toward digital and sustainable supply chains, allowing for full transparency and visibility, according to executives.
The deal will also provide opportunities to cross-sell rfXcel solutions across Antares Vision Group’s base of track-and-trace and inspection solutions and across a customer base of over 2,500 clients.
