More cold chain capacity as well

MD Logistics is investing $2.5 million in its Indianapolis facility, based on growing demand. The 173,000-sq.ft. addition nearly doubles its capacity. Included in the expansion is a 20,000-sq.ft. addition to cold chain storage. There have been recent additions at MD Logistics’ Reno, NV facility as well.

“We’re constantly evaluating industry and customer growth,” said Mark Sell, president and co-founder of MD Logistics, in a statement. “By adding this facility, we’re able to accommodate needs for additional secure pharmaceutical and medical device storage.”

MD Logistics serves life sciences clients in both pharma and medical devices, providing third-party logistics (3PL) services, warehousing and packaging. It operates a free trade zone (FTZ) in Indianapolis, enabling expedited transfer of products through the US.
