White House Extends MFN Pricing to Every State Medicaid Program

The White House said Medicaid programs in all 50 states, D.C. and Puerto Rico now receive MFN prices, with nearly $65 billion in savings over a decade.

The White House announced Sept. 18 that Medicaid programs in all 50 states will benefit from most favored nation (MFN) drug prices under the GENEROUS Medicaid Payment Model.1 Participating manufacturers will provide state programs with rebates so the final price to Medicaid does not exceed the MFN price, according to the administration.
