Clinical logistics provider World Courier is adding new offices in Chengdu, China; Manila, Philippines; Vilnius, Lithuania; and Belgrade, Serbia to its global network of more than 140 offices in 50 countries. It is also expanding depot facilities in Feltham, UK, and in Boston. “Our new offices, located in key markets in Asia and Europe, will enable us to build relationships with local customs and regulatory authorities and better position us to serve our customers’ unique needs, such as the growing demand for temperature control solutions,” commented Sam Herbert, World Courier president.
The company is also beefing up dedicated services for specialized operations in direct-to-patient, cellular and genetic therapy and clinical trial execution—three dynamic areas of life sciences clinical work currently. “Personalized supply chain teams” of technical experts will work directly with customers to provide a combination of project management and customer service expertise.
