- The United States has
finalized its withdrawal from the World Health Organization. The country’s exit comes one year after President Donald Trump issued an executive order informing the organization of his plans to have the US leave the organization. The decision was originally revealed on Trump’s inaugural day of his new presidency, when he signed the executive order and told reporters, “World Health ripped us off.” - In other news, Hospitals are reporting
one of the worst flu seasons in more than two decades, with hospitalization rates soaring past pre-pandemic levels. This surge is compounded by the recent scaling back of the federal vaccine schedule, leaving providers to navigate a "perfect storm" of high patient volume and shifting public health guidelines.
